The shell and core and tenant improvement retrofit of the former historic Kress department store, aka the Frank’s Building, in Highland Park. The core and shell scope includes seismic retrofits, upgrading an existing elevator, and redesigning the storefront to meet both Historic requirements of the city as well as the functioning needs of future tenants. Wick Architecture also completed the tenant improvement for Lemontree Studios, Blind Barber and John Aaroe within the building.
