California Pasta Prototype
Warm materials, bright colors, and unique lighting create a light and approachable dining space for the California Pasta prototype. Extruded white oak vertical slats set against graphic wallpaper wrap several of the walls and the soffit above the ordering queue area. The dining room is lit with suspended neon pictograms. A colorful stone relief serves a backdrop for seating, and the pink, white and bronze colors are pulled out of the stone relief accenting the white oak seating through the space. Designed and built in conjunction with the Taqueria prototype, the two restaurants share a back-of-house kitchen and restrooms. | 1,856 SF, Pasadena, CA
