Taqueria Prototype
This taqueria concept is part of the overall site redevelopment of the dusitD2 Hotel Constance in Pasadena. Set in a single-story space behind an historic brick facade, the concept evokes the taco stands of Mexico by using simple and bright materials with bold graphics. These include graphics painted on maple plywood, stencils painted on the existing concrete floor and walls and a graphic wood relief wall. Colorful furniture and industrial lighting complete the aesthetic. Designed and built in conjunction with the California Pasta prototype, the two restaurants share a back-of-house kitchen and restrooms. | 2,533 SF, Pasadena, CA
