Lazy Eye’s production office is situated with an existing one story CMU block building in Frogtown near the Los Angeles River. The offices are organized around a central open space for communal working. Natural light permeates the offices through a custom designed steel door and window system, and circular skylights. The exterior CMU has been sandblasted exposing a variated pink hue. New book-matched oak paneling, vintage refurbished pendant lights, stucco, concrete and steel complement the existing CMU and sandblasted wood trusses and joists. Lazy Eye is phase 1 of a larger remodel of the existing 5,000 square foot building.
